Since the 2019 terrorist attack at NAS Pensacola, access to the base has been limited to holders of Department of Defense ID cards and their guests. For seven months in 2020, the museum also was closed because of the COVID-19 pandemic.The museum currently has 38 employees working, with the rest on furlough.
Wherever you want to visit aboard NAS Pensacola, it is important to plan ahead and follow procedures for entering the base. Please remember – all visitors must enter NAS at the West Gate civilian entrance on Blue Angel Parkway (unless you are military).
