Gore Creek is a tributary of the Eagle River, approximately 18.5 miles (29.8 km) long, in Eagle County in central Colorado in the United States. It drains an area of the Rocky Mountains at the south end of the Gore Range through Gore Valley.

Gore Creek starts in the White River National Forest, about four miles north of Vail Pass, and descends to the west through a narrow pathway. Downstream from here, it runs along the U.S. Highway 6 and Interstate 70. Eventually, it flows through Vail and joins the Eagle River.

Where do you park for Gore Creek Trail?

Access: Parking is very limited at the trailhead; do not park in undesignated areas. We strongly encourage taking the free East Vail blue line shuttle, which runs every 30 minutes, from the Vail Transportation Center to the Main Gore / Bighorn stop.
