We love Makena Beach because we always find sea turtles here. To find them, simply look out onto the ocean and spot the big buoy about 1/4 mile out from the beach. The hotel at the other end of the beach has a catamaran that anchors off of this. Swim the 1/4 mile out and be watchful along the way.
