The area is a bit bigger than Pensacola so there are more hotels and condos which may make it a little busier. Which beach is better Destin or Pensacola?

Destin is a more crowded and ‘touristy’ location, but it also offers more things to do and more selections for shopping and dining. Pensacola Beach, on the other hand, offers a smaller area, fewer things to do, but a more authentic experience overall.

Which is better Gulf Shores or Destin?

Gulf Shores is very family oriented. Destin is a bit flashier, more upper class, a little more expensive, and as previously mentioned, more traffic and further from the river so clearer water often. Both have plenty of options for condos and houses right on the water.
