Wetumpka, Alabama (McGillivray Plantation) The McGillivray Plantation ruins can be found 4 miles north of Wetumpka, Alabama. Built around 1750, it was destroyed during an Indian attack sometime later. There are legends that a hoard of coins and silver tableware remains buried or hidden on the property.
