Providence is a great company to work for, they offer many opportunities to move within the company. They also have great PTO, Heath insurance, and retirement plans. Leadership is approachable and they try to help you connect With the mission statement.

What is it like to work for Providence Health?

I’ve worked at Providence Healthcare for over 10 years and it is such a great workplace! Everyone is very collaborative, it’s organized and everyone is very compassionate and loves their jobs as well. The work culture is superb, and I couldn’t be more fortunate to have landed a job that I love in this Organization!

Is Providence Health a good company?

Is Providence St Joseph Health a good place to work?

Its been a pleasure to work in the specialty offices. Professional and caring while still having a bit of fun. St Josephs may not be the highest paying company but they do pay well and you do not feel like an expendable person, cog in the wheel or a robot. I generally enjoy coming in to work daily and would recommend.

Is Ascension Health a good company to work for?

Overall nice place to work. Supportive coworkers and administration . Opportunities for training and advancement . Recently Ascension required Mandatory vaccines for covid alot of employees are leaving because of it .

Does ascension give bonuses?

The Moral is in the toilet, managenment looks for reasons to write staff up so they do not have to give them a raise, now there are no bonuses and no raisies for anyone.

Overall, Ascension was a great employer. They cared about employees well being for the most part. They have great benefits and the health system is great. Unfortunately, they do not always have the best staffing and don’t always see when employees are being overworked.

Every year there is a 14 days vacation with pay. PTO Based vacation, we are not given specific vacation days.
