New sea anchors to be installed under Kauai. We have just appropriated the funds to replace 2 of the giant sea anchors that hold Kauai in place. Put in place after hurricane Iniki in 1992 to help the island of Kauai maintain its geographical position, the anchors are due for a replacement.
