Is homelessness worse in Seattle or Portland?

Homelessness.Seattle has the third highest homeless population of any US city and I would be remiss to exclude this fact because it impacts my perception of living in Seattle. Likewise, homelessness is a contentious issue in Portland and has a very high rate of homelessness that seems to be rising.

Which city is safer Portland or Seattle?

Seattle’s crime rate is 5,829 incidents per 100,000 people. Portland’s crime rate is 5,980 incidents per 100,000 people. So, they are very similar, but Portland’s is slightly higher.

Does Portland have more homeless than other cities?
