The Enmarket Savannah Bridge Run is known as the “South’s Toughest Bridge Run” allowing participants to run over the Talmadge Bridge 1x, 2x or 3x by participating in the 5K, 10K or Double Pump! The Talmadge Bridge has a 1.4 mile span, 5.5% grade and peaks at 196 feet above the Savannah River.

Running in Savannah means running flat. The sole “hill” is the 5.5-percent grade on the narrow emergency lane of the Talmadge Memorial Bridge. So, yes, you can run over it, 196 feet above the Savannah River, 2.2 miles to Hutchinson Island and back.
