Oregon has beautiful places to swim and cool off throughout the state. With temperatures rising up over 90 degrees, many are looking for a place to get into the water and cool off. Luckily Oregon has an abundance of lakes, creeks and rivers to get out and explore.

While there is no real official stand on this by Oregon tourism or state authorities, the general answer is: yes, you can swim in the Oregon coast’s Pacific Ocean.In the summer the ocean rarely gets above 58 degrees.
