Can you park overnight in Boulder?

Many businesses do not allow overnight parking. Golden Gate State Park is sw of town and there are Forest Service Campgrounds and roads to the west up Boulder Canyon past Nederland. Assuming your van is small enough to fit in a parking garage, you will have absolutely no problems leaving it there overnight.

Boulder’s anti-camping ordinance doesn’t bar people from sleeping outside, but it does bar them from using any shelter when they do so, including blankets or sleeping bags. It’s also illegal to sleep in a car, unless it is on private property with the property owner’s permission.
