Are there sharks in the Indian River Delaware?

Sharks come into the inland bays and it seems more so this year than ever. I have friends that dive the Indian River Inlet and they have seen some big sharks move through there over the years. This is not to freak anyone out, but to make you all wary that we have sharks moving around the inland bays.

Since 1940, there have been three other shark attacks in Delaware waters, according to the database at the University of Florida. The biggest period for shark attacks was in the 1960s, when two were reported in Delaware.Two were caused by tiger sharks and the species of shark is not known in two of the deaths.
