Pennsylvanians scored lowest on merging and signaling turns, but better on tailgating and aggression. “Pennsylvania treats slow drivers nicely,” the survey authors concluded. “However, if you come to a backed-up exit, watch out! These drivers are likely to cut in.”

The rankings – based on a survey of 2,500 drivers in all 50 states by something called #Drive Human – placed Pennsylvania at 42 for having the most courteous drivers, which means the state ranks ninth for having the rudest drivers in the country.
