What percentage of students get a first?
In total, 35% of students at UK universities graduated with a first in 2019/20, compared with 28% in 2018/19, according to data published by the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA). This is more than double the percentage who gained a first in 2009/10 (14%).

Yes because you’d be lying! At my uni, only the final overall degree classification is rounded up — so at the end of final year if you have 69.4% they round it down to a 2:1 and if you have 69.5% or above they round it up to a first.
