Is there open container law in Aruba?

We were told there is no open container law in Aruba. We were also told (not sure if true) that even the driver can drink. Obviously the driver cannot be drunk. 🙂 Not sure of the actual law, but I can with 100% accuracy and certainty say, if there is an open container law on the books, it is not enforced.

It is currently against the law to drink alcohol on beaches, in parking lots, parks, or in any public place unless it is a licensed establishment. If you buy an alcoholic beverage at a beach bar you need to stay at that beach bar and drink it.

Yes they are free. The best drinks IMO are at the Ritz in REAL glasses with top shelf available…. My golden rule of getting great drinks at the casino is to take care of the waitresses and they will take care of you.
