The Bahamas is a great place to visit, and it’s also a great place to eat – if the food is prepared with care.If you have digestive issues, consume bottled water and stay away from ice, unpasteurized milk, and raw foods like fresh salads. Fresh food provided at hotels, on the other hand, is generally safe to consume.

Drinking tap water in the Bahamas is generally of good quality and safety is considered to be well regulated. However, as in any hot tropical country, there are still some precautions that wise visitors prefer to take. First of all, although tap water is considered good, you can still stick to bottled water.
