Automatic ticket gates are now installed at Blackpool North, Leeds, Bradford Interchange, Manchester Oxford Road and are being installed at Manchester Victoria (New Year 2015).Gates will also help us to reduce the number of passengers travelling without a ticket, improve security and discourage anti-social behaviour.

TICKET barriers have been installed at a Manchester railway station to stop people from getting on to platforms without valid tickets. Now operator Northern Rail has installed the gates, which only open when fed with a valid ticket.
