Spearfishing and pole spears are only allowed under permit, and those permits are only available to citizens of Antigua and Barbuda. Collecting lobsters by diving (incl snorkelling, scuba and free diving) is prohibited, and there is also a complete ban on harvesting during the close season (May 1-June 30).
