Is there free street parking in Edinburgh?

The good news is that, beyond the Centre, parking is largely free in Edinburgh. The bad news is that because it’s free, it can be a bit tricky to find a parking space sometimes. Once you’re about a third of the way down Leith Walk, restrictions don’t apply. This is good news for anyone visiting the Shore!

Is there parking at Arthurs Seat?

Parking at Arthur’s Seat. Arthur’s seat doesn’t have its own car park specifically, the closest ones to the popular mountain are Holyrood Road (25 minute walk), St Leonards (13 minute walk) and Dynamic Earth (25 minute walk). There are disabled bays available in all car parks and charges apply to all who park in them.
