The lowest temperature measured during that time was -25 degrees Fahrenheit (-32 Celsius) on January 18, 1977. Since 1949 the temperature extremes were observed at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport. Before then, the weather station was near downtown Cincinnati.
