Bottom Line: I would say 2 days isn’t close to enough for a “normal” first trip to SF. 3 is obviously better, but even that will shortchange things and/or make for a hectic trip unless your list of things is fairly short or you’re willing to have more of a “yep, seen it, check it off” sort of trip.
