Are there snakes in Sedona Arizona?

It’s snake season in Sedona and we were contacted 3 times today for help with snakes at residences within our district. Not all snakes are dangerous but we do have rattlesnakes here in our area and some species that can look very similar to a rattlesnake. These pictures show a gophersnake, often called a bull snake.
