A must-see for any visitor to Naples is Lowdermilk Park, in central Naples. Located in one of the most beautiful residential districts in town, Lowdermilk is one of the most popular Naples public beaches, and offers clean wide beaches, plenty of parking, public restrooms, and a very good snack bar and concession stand.

The most popular city beaches, such as around Naples Pier, are publicly owned, but much of the dry sands elsewhere in the city are privately owned, as property lines extend onto the beach. Those property owners can legally keep sunbathers or picnickers off the dry part of the beach.
