Can I get on NAS Pensacola?
The National Naval Aviation Museum is located on board NAS Pensacola. Access to the air station and therefore the museum is limited to all holders of current Department of Defense (DoD) ID. Under the Trusted Traveler Program, he/she may escort up to 15 guests in a maximum of one vehicle.

Is NAS Pensacola Beach Open?
Barrancas Beach is currently open Saturday and Sunday only 1000-1800. The beach is open to active duty and their dependents at this time. Barrancas Beach is located on NAS Pensacola conveniently close to the lighthouse and Navy Lodge.
Are the Blue Angels practices open to the public?
The museum has elevated its viewing experience for those with a DoD ID card this year. Access to the flight line behind the National Naval Aviation Museum opens at 9:30 a.m. for each practice. The outside viewing area for the Blues’ practices is located on the museum flight line north of the museum.
Since the 2019 terrorist attack at NAS Pensacola, access to the base has been limited to holders of Department of Defense ID cards and their guests. For seven months in 2020, the museum also was closed because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
What happened at NAS Pensacola?
Nearly two years after a terrorist took the lives of three sailors and injured eight others in an attack onboard Naval Air Station Pensacola, the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office released a series of dashcam videos from the morning of Dec. 6, 2019.

Is Nas open to the public?
