Is education in Finland cheap?

Up to 2017, higher education was free for everyone. However, today it is only free for Finnish citizens and EU students. Non-EU students will have to pay tuition fees that usually go from USD 6,000 to USD 18,000 per year. So, bear in mind that if you are from the EU, the tuition fees indicated below don’t apply to you.
