One of the simplest ways of visiting Cambridge by car is to use one of the five Park & Ride sites located on the outskirts of the city. With a valid concessionary pass you can ride to and from town free after 9.30am weekdays, anytime at weekends (if you’re travelling with children, they’ll need to pay for a separate ticket). If you get on a park&ride bus, you can also buy normal Stagecoach tickets including singles, Dayriders and Megariders.
Why is Milton Park and Ride closed?
Milton Park-and-Ride is set to temporarily shut from May 10 because of the rules which require busier services to provide social distancing for passengers. In a statement, Stagecoach – the company behind the service – blamed ‘government restrictions’ for the move.
