No liquids, gels, and/or aerosols are permitted except when packed in a clear transparent resealable 1 quart (1 liter) size plastic bag. Liquids, gels, and/or aerosols in containers of 3.4 oz.

What can’t you bring to Aruba?

INADMISSIBLE ITEMS

  • Pasteurized/Hard Cheese.
  • Seafood.
  • Poultry (cooked)
  • Bananas.
  • Bakery Items without pork/beef.
  • Consume meals purchased outside the airport prior to entering the Aruba CBP inspection area. Meals purchased within the Aruba Airport are permissible for onboard consumption but should be declared.

Can you bring frozen food into Aruba?

All frozen and will last at least 36 hours before any threat of thawing. We pack it all in a soft sided cooled and throw it in the suitcase. We make sandwiches for lunch almost every day and even an easy dinner after a busy day. Don’t forget about bringing frozen items in your checked baggage.

Can I bring liquor into Aruba?

Aruba Customs regulations allow incoming visitors to bring articles for personal use. Persons 19 and over can also bring in 2.25 liters of wine, 3 liters of beer, or 1 liter of liquor and 200 cigarettes, 50 cigars, and or 250 grams of tobacco.

It is against the law to take shells out of Aruba. The visitors get fined and the shells are confiscated.

Can I ship food to Aruba?

Meats, cereals, cookies, etc are ALL fine. No fresh fruits or veggies are allowed to be brought in. You will have no problem at all.

Do you have to go through customs in Aruba?

Aruba has US pre-clearance for all passengers traveling to the United States. This means that you will go through passport control in Aruba at the U.S. Customs & Border Protection facility and once back in the US you don’t have that hassle.

Is liquor expensive in Aruba?

Alcohol on the island is expensive, plain and simple. If you can stomach and afford the overpriced drinks at nearly every bar, restaurant and hotel, then go for it. But if budget is at all a factor, find some local supermarkets and mini markets to stock up at.

According to the international treaty CITES and our local laws the National Ordinance protection of native flora and fauna and the Sand Ordinance, which prohibits the removal or export of seashells, corals, and beach sand from Aruba. The amount of corals, seashells, and beach sand confiscated lately is very odd.

Can you use dollars in Aruba?

US dollars are accepted throughout the Island. Local currency and US dollar ATM machines (Maestro/Cirrus) are situated all over the islands. Major credit cards are accepted in most tourist establishments.

Should you bring cash to Aruba?

You don’t need cash for much in Aruba. Certainly not to pay daily room charges and other hotel/timeshare costs. We use credit cards for just about everything significant. Minor purchases, tips when we don’t charge the bill, casino visits and such are cash.

What do you wear at night in Aruba?

Numerous people yesterday and today were nabbed and fined at Aruba Airport for bringing sand, shells or coral out of Aruba.
