Oxford Economics expects Berlin to be one of the fastest growing cities in Germany over the five years to 20213.As a result of the growing population, the number of households in Berlin is rising by more than 20,000 per year. In 2011, Berlin’s Senate expected the population to rise by approximately 250,000 by 2030.
