In Jamaica the standard voltage is 110 V and the frequency is 50 Hz. You can use your electric appliances in Jamaica, because the standard voltage (110 V) is (more or less) the same as in the United States of America (120 V).So you don’t need a voltage converter in Jamaica, when living in the United States of America.
