The third largest island in Hawaii, and also the most populated, Oahu is home to approximately two-thirds of Hawaii’s population. And because of this, many people believe Oahu is entirely overrated – it’s too crowded, too busy, too developed, etc.Here are 13 reasons we absolutely love Oahu.

Are Oahu beaches crowded?

Oahu beaches are some of the most beautiful in the world, but they’re also some of the busiest. Hawaii receives millions of tourists every year, and Waikiki, as Oahu’s most-visited beach, carries a third of those visitors. On such a busy set of islands, it can be pretty hard to find a quiet spot to relax.
