The Diversity Index in the United States is 61% in 2020.Connecticut ranks 22 out of 51, with a Diversity Index of 56%. While this is lower than the national average, Connecticut has the highest Diversity Index of all the states in New England and has experienced an increase of nearly 10% (from 46%) since 2010.
