The Jacksonville Zoo is open every day (except for Christmas day) from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. General admission costs $24.95 for adults and $19.95 for children ages 3 to 12; infants ages 2 and younger can enter for free.

Is the Jacksonville Zoo free?

General Admission tickets are free for children, up to 5 (ages 12 and under) with each adult. Members must also reserve their tickets online.

Do you have to wear a mask at Jacksonville Zoo?

There is no mask requirement in Jacksonville for certain outdoor venues such as ours, yet we strongly encourage guests to wear face masks. Do you allow outside food and beverages? Coolers or outside food and beverage are only allowed within Picnic Grove near Main Camp. They are prohibited in all other areas inside the Zoo and Gardens. Water bottles ARE allowed.

Event tickets are required for anyone 2 years and older. Members please have photo ID and/or membership card ready. Members receive free entry to Boo at the Zoo and must purchase a treat bag if they would like to collect candy. Members of other zoos, such as Omaha Zoo, do not receive any discounts.
