The 2 other places that I’ve been to that I would call comparable to Aruba as far as beaches, friendliness, safeness, etc, is Turks and Caicos and Grand Cayman.

Grand Cayman is similar to Aruba in that it is a very safe island. You can go anywhere without worry. If you stay in the heart of 7 mile beach there are plenty of things within walking distance. Also many hotels and condos to choose from.
